About You

You are a Human Resources professional/practitioner or consultant who brings a business and customer-focused approach to people and culture. You’re a high-potential person who wants more than a traditional corporate or consulting firm career path and has a desire to add value to a business as a trusted advisor. This role will report into the People and Culture business unit and will be based primarily from home with occasional requirements to be in office or at client sites.

What You Will Do and The Value You Will Add

Its time to Disrupt your career! Leveraging your business and human resources background, you will help clients drive organizational success through designing and implementing business-aligned people practices and programs across all human resources disciplines with a particular focus on leadership development, total rewards, talent management and organizational transformation.

Your involvement could range from being a member of a larger Stratford project team where you will support a Lead Consultant throughout a client engagement, to managing your own projects and clients. You will have the opportunity to continuously strengthen and expand your consulting expertise both through direct experience, coaching and planned development

Potential Areas of Focus
  • Work with the Stratford team to design, implement and deliver critical people practices and programs to support clients in areas such as
  • Total Rewards
  • Talent Management
  • Leadership Development
  • Support our Compensation Consulting practice leveraging your aptitude and capabilities for research and data analysis
  • Lead or be part of virtual HR teams for smaller, growing companies where we act as their outsourced HR department
  • Participate as a team member on larger projects where you will support senior consultants
  • Participate in projects to support total rewards engagements (e.g. job evaluation, salary benchmarking, total rewards reviews)
Required Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, human resources or other relevant discipline
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in an HR consulting role or a human resources practitioner
  • Professional HR designation is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative research and interviews, analyze data, document work processes and develop high quality deliverables that are clear, concise and meet client expectations
  • Bilingual (written and spoken) in both of Canada’s official languages is a strong asset
